  1. installled it, tested it and it works great. thanks man!

I just do not understand what trhe Newzbin functionality brings me? I got invited by someone, so I have an account, I just dont see what this brings me?

  2. Thanks for this addin!

  3. jochen – It enables you to bookmark posts for download instead of having to download the NZB-files.

  4. How can I change the download directory? I want to download to another drive i.e. D:\Shares\Public\Complete

  5. Can anyone with Newzbin access provide me with an invite (david.lees AT gmail.com) – Tx!!

  6. Hello Michael. I love your addin and it works great, except for one thing..

In the configuration of SabNZB manager, it’s possible to set SabNZB to listen on all ports by entering ip adres 0.0.0.0 instead of only localhost. This way, I can connect to it from other clients as well
    .
However, when SabNZB manager tries to connect internally to 0.0.0.0 it will fail to connect, prompting the connection was refused trying to contact 0.0.0.0:8080

SabNZB manager always takes the value of host:port from the ini file, I assume.

It would be nice if SabNZBmanager could be set to connect to value that is set in the ini file or an option to ignore it and connect to localhost if it says 0.0.0.0:8080
Or configure it as a value in SabNZB manager that overrides the value in the ini file.

Currently, I can work around it by modifying the ini file temporarily, setting the value back to localhost, restart SabNZB service and SabNZB manager, then changing the host back to 0.0.0.0 again.

  7. Hi,

Nice idea. I will add that feature as soon as possible.

    Regards,
    Michael

  8. Go to the options page, and change the download target.

  9. Great stuff Michael, thanks a lot!
If anyone has an invite to newsbin to spare, mail me 321martijn ‘at’ raketnet.nl

  10. You can fix the Cant connect on 0.0.0.:8080 by changing the “listen for connections on” from 0.0.0.0 to localhost.

  11. Just installed it on my EX490 – and get the same “canĀ“t connect to 0.0.0:8080″ how can i get around this and start udsing add-in?

    Best regards
    Rasmus

  12. Invites are no longer needed.

  13. Had to copy my sabnzbd.ini over from my Linux box, edited it for the different folder locations and all is well. For those who don’t know, Sabnzbd needs this .ini file to work. I’m not sure this addIn is creating this file, I didn’t see one before I copied mine over.
If you want access from a remote pc you need to use the WHS’s actual ip address or the 192.x.x.x:8080 in Sabnzb.

Thanks to the developer, great tool!

  14. Might work on a cleaner un-install for this thing. In case you want rid of it through WHS it doesn’t un-install clean at all.
Out of the blue this addin stopped working for me.

  15. I installed the WHS addin, it tells me I need sabnzbd.ini.

I cannot for the life of me find this file anywhere. Where does it come from, where is it, what does it do?

Since it’s a WHS, there’s no option to search for files.

  16. Are you going to update this for sabnzbd 0.5.2?

Or is there an easy way to update it while maintaining it as a service?

    Thanks!
